Former First Minister for Wales, Carwyn Jones MS, was among a number of dignitaries who attended the official unveiling of the memorial to the men from the GWR in Llanelli who fell in the Great War.
Our trustee, George Parker MBE, sponsored an information booklet which was distributed at the service. The booklet gives a more detailed insight into life on the railways during The Great War. It also pays tribute to the fallen soliders who worked for the GWR. You can click below access a full version of this booklet.
